First Webinar Golden Web Award To Be Held On February 27

MUMBAI: The fastest emerging new OTT (Over The Top) platform “Webinar India”, is hosting its first edition of “Webinar Golden Web Award” on February 27 at Hotel JW Marriott in Juhu, Mumbai. The grand event will witness all exemplary disciplines of OTT artistes and technicians being rewarded and honored for their talent.

Speaking about his new initiative Gopi Sapru, the director of this award, states, “In today’s era OTT is the biggest platform which has billions of viewers all over the world. We will honour all those actors and technicians associated with the OTT series on any other platforms like producers, directors, best actors  – actresses – villains – supporting artistes male and female including story- screenplay-dialogue writers, lyricist, director of photography, lyricist, music director, set designers and other important technicians.” Sapru further adds, “The pandemic Covid-19 has stumped the entire year of 2020. It has seen a rise of a number of corona warriors who stood through this thick and thin. We will take this opportunity to award policemen, doctors and social workers who have lost their lives while fighting this epidemic. The most popular male and female on Instagram will also be honoured. A category to award private songs on YouTube will also feature in this ceremony.”

In search of different local talents ‘Webinar India’ had contacted all the photo studios of the country. These talented artistes will be brought to Mumbai and provided a platform for actors and singers and help them in attaining international recognition. This section will be one of the special events in the function.

Another milestone achieved by this OTT platform “Webinar India” is that it has four major branches like “Webinar Entertainment” – which includes family entertainment; “Webinar 14 Plus” will have adult contents; “Webinar 24 X 7 News” – which will be a 24-hours news channel from across the globe and lastly “Webinar Education” – for students where prominent teachers from across the country will guide them to choose the right career.

  

The award ceremony will see the presence of many celebrities like Abhishek Bachchan, Pankaj Tripathi, Divyanshu Sharma, Ali Faizal, Shweta Tripathi, Rasika Duggal, Harshita and Rajesh Telang, Sheeba Cheddha, Vikrant Massey, Liliput, Vijay Verma, Flora Saini, Arjun Mathur, Shobhita Dhulipala, Jim Sabah, Kalki Koechlin, Vinay Pathak, Sharad Kelkar, Manoj Bajpai, Dalip Tahil, Manni Mishra, Ayesha Raza Mishra, Vijay Raj and Shareeb Hashmi.  Many nominated producers, directors and technicians and others will add the glitter to the award ceremony.
