Eminent Scientist H.E. Prof. Dr. Madhu Krishan Graces Colombo As Chief Guest To Commemorate UN International Widows Day

Colombo, Sri Lanka | June 2025 – In a profound expression of solidarity and humanitarian commitment, His Eminence Prof. Dr. Madhu Krishan—Eminent Scientist and Founding Chairman of the American University USA (AUGP) and the United Nations University for Global Peace (UNUGP USA)—graced Colombo as the Chief Guest at a prestigious seminar commemorating United Nations International Widows Day,

Hosted at the iconic BMICH, this landmark event witnessed participation from a wide spectrum of dignitaries, including H.E. Dr. Hatta Chang Wahid from Hong Kong and Hollywood celebrity Ms. Nadia Hatta from Canada as Guests of Honour. Over 300 wheelchairs (imported from Germany), along with various essential items, were distributed to widows, underprivileged women, and marginalized groups in a powerful display of inclusion and compassion.

Keynote Address by Prof. Dr. Madhu Krishan

In his impactful keynote, Prof. Dr. Madhu Krishan addressed the global theme of the UN International Widows Day, emphasizing “Innovation & Technology for Gender Equality” and “Empowering Widows through Legal & Inclusive Development.” He passionately advocated for rebuilding lives beyond grief and stigmas, reinforcing communities, and fostering resilience.

Prof. Krishan further underlined the pivotal role of interfaith spiritual leaders in building sustainable and peaceful nations, describing them as the “pillars of a strong global community.”

The seminar was jointly organized by AUGP and UNUGP USA, in collaboration with the International Human Rights Global Mission (IHRGM). The event was attended by representatives of diverse communities, civil society leaders, and international delegates.

Acknowledgment of Sri Lankan Leadership

Prof. Krishan extended his heartfelt appreciation to the Hon’ble President of Sri Lanka, Mr. Anura Kumara Dissanayake, the Hon’ble Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, and members of the Sri Lankan Parliament, both ruling and opposition, for their unwavering commitment to national development and inclusion.

He was accompanied by a distinguished delegation, including:

Address at Miracle Dome & Remarkable Prophecy Revisited

Earlier that morning, Prof. Dr. Madhu Krishan addressed a powerful congregation at the Miracle Dome, where thousands gathered physically and virtually. During this spiritual conclave, he lauded Prophet H.E. Rt. Rev. Bishop Dr. Jerome Fernando, the Bishop of Sri Lanka under the Global Apostolic Dioceses USA, for his remarkable prophetic insights,

Of note was Prophet Jerome’s accurate forewarning of the Air India Flight 171 crash in Gujarat, initially prophesied on November 26, 2024, and reiterated on April 24, 2025, exactly 49 days prior to the tragic event. Prof. Dr. Krishan praised this as a divine testament to spiritual foresight and called for greater interfaith unity in times of global challenges.

Also present was Prof. Dr. Lakshman Madurasinghe, Archbishop of the Global Synod and Vice Chancellor of AUGP USA.

Tribute to Prof. Sir Anton Jayasuriya & Strategic Collaborations

As part of his peace mission, Prof. Dr. Madhu Krishan paid tribute to the legendary Prof. Sir Anton Jayasuriya, pioneer of Integrated Complementary Medicine. He engaged in strategic meetings with the Board of Trustees and Senate Members of OIUCM, congratulating them on enrolling over 15,000 new doctors under the Medicina Alternativa Alma Ata 1962 in collaboration with Azteca University USA.

Prof. Dr. Krishan serves as a respected Senate Member of OIUCM and remains a key global advocate for alternative medicine and holistic healing practices.
